Problems point placement on curves with defined distance?

Hi,

I've unrolled some geometry that I want to prep for production and I've added the connection "tabs" in Grasshopper, but I can't figure out why it isn't working for the last one.

The structure is composed of different modules that always connect in the same manner. Therefore the little tab from the bottom right has to be reproduced (the same base lenght) at the upper left and the upper right tab on the lower right.

It worked fine for the smaller tab, but I just can't figure out why it isn't working for the bigger one.

Any ideas?

Anybody?

Instead of using "evaluate curve" to find the matching point you should use "evaluate length", and set the "Normalized" (N) input to false.  This will give you a point along your target curve that is exactly at the desired length.  I'd do this for both the small and large tabs...even though your small tabs may appear to be working, looking at your file I notice some small differences in length between them.

Wow, that's a very nice and elegant way to solve this.
Thank you so much for your help!
