Offset surfaces for lasercutting

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there is an easy way to offset surfaces to prepare them for lasercutting. When you look into the side view, you see more than 160 surfaces behind each other. I want the first surface to move 1000 mm to the left, the second surface 2000 mm and so on. Moving every element by hand is going to take to much time.. so hopefully someone comes with a solution..

And attached is how I might approach laying them out on the XY plane for laser cutting...  Of course, the objects are huge (if it's mm), so you are probably going to scale them...  No nesting either, but you get the idea.
