Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm new to grasshopper, and was wondering if you could help me. For an assignment I need to make a geodesic sphere (I chose a icosahedron with a frequency of 2, and a radius of 10cm) and on each face I need to generate an algorithmic pattern. Each pattern on the face is meant to be varied in size and/or shape (up to me). So for example, a triangle. In that case, I was thinking of using an attractor. How do I do this? Attached is what I've done so far.
I would really really appreciate it if you could help me with this. It's my last assignment and it's causing me a lot of stress!!
Kind regards

Hi Selda,

if you haved worked it out yet, you need to set the number of random values to match the number of crvs your offseting then graft the output from the random component.  You could use a scale component instead of an offset too if your having trouble with distances.

With regards to attactors i would have a look at tutorial from Page 57 of the primer onwards

Hope this helps
