problem opening file

hi guys i prepared a file yesterday night and i am not able to open it because of some io error ...the grasshopper io message says root file is missing...what does the mean..please help! kinda urgent..thanks :)

also i am having trouble in extrusions...giving the nonplanar curves thicknesses..let me know what can be done attaching the 3dm file and an earlier definition i was working on

Hi Kanaka,

I am also unable to open the file. By any chance were you saving it on a USB stick. I have seen similar problems with pulling the plug so to speak before the file has completely finished saving.

Also Ning doesn't like RAR files could you re-save it as a Zip or post a dropbox link.

hey danny,

i was working on the computer and not on any external hard drive ...but my computer did crash. usually when this happens grasshopper gives me the option of opening the recovery file but it did not give me the option this time.

That will explain it.

go looking for your autosave files either by opening up the preferences Menu and clicking Show or navigating in windows explorer to %Appdata\Roaming\Grasshopper\Autosave
