uniform dispacement of poins on double curvature surface

Hi all !

I want a fairly homogeneous displacement of points on surfaces that have double curvature. Any idea how i can do this, since the UV domain isn't uniform?

(I do have an idea, but it requires loops and i still haven't learned to script in GH...)

Thanks for Your time!

Hi, Daniel, i'm looking for uniform direct distances between neighbouring points

Try to get isocurves from you surface and divide them by the number of points....

Look up fot the phrase "(un)even distribution" on the forum, there are a few tries at this already.

Hi Andrei, you can distribute points so the distances between neighbouring ones are approximately equal by using circle packing with equal radii.

can i do this on non-planar surfaces? on't i need spheres instead on circles? Thanks!

PS: if it's not too much trouble, take a look at my 2 questions on the kangaroo forum as well, would help me quite a bit  http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/kangaroo?commentId=2985220%3ACom...
