Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Would it be possible to make an option for stoping Grasshopper during an operation? Somethimes you ran out of coffe and wire something wrong, or in a dumb way, and Grasshopper crashes or freezes..

Despite the efforts of "Autosave", this would help a lot.

Have you tried ESCAPE?

Well that surprisingly WORKS EXACTLY LIKE AN ABORT BUTTON!

I'm laughting so hard of myself now!

This makes me feel like I'm my grandpa using the pc.

The worst part... I remember using it when I started to learn Gh in 2009...

And I constantly use it in Rhino ¬¬

But sometimes, I hit Esc and it crashes anyway... So if Esc can't help, a button is less likely too.. So.. better just take care when using heavy operations and stop bothering the developers...

Its actually only a more recent update that allowed it to work better. So not many people think about using it reliably.

Version 0.9.0005:

The state of the Escape key is now also monitored during data conversions, making Escape behaviour more reliable.

"More reliable" in the sense of "more responsive". Stuff isn't supposed to crash with Escape, if it is, please send in the crash report.
