algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everyone!

this is my first discussion :)

I have a problem with a 3d model, sweep2. I checked a lot in the web site and everyone solved it flipping the curves but in my case It doesn't work...

Thanks a lot for helping!

Hi luk ,

As far as I konw ,Sweep2 componnet in gh have always been buggy since long long times ago .I think we have nothing to do about this but The David .You may try ohter ways to achieve what you want ,for example ,Loft could be helpful .

Thanks for replying!

I tried loft...but I cannot do it properly...

For Sweep2, the two rails need to be the same direction -- you need to find the start point of both rails that connect to the curve you want to sweep.

You need try a few times to decide which rail to flip, not flip all of them.

but how can I know the start point? is there a way to visualize the direction in GH? Thanks :)

There is a component called "end point" which will pick out the start and end point of a curve.

Other ways exist, too.

great thanks I try this

I tried but I couldn't do it, something in GH will remain a mistery to me eheh

If I just loft...the result is like that... -.- I don't understand what's wrong...
is there a way to select all the points of the upper curve and connect them with the basement surface (that one is the shadow, offsetted)
thanks!!

there is something wrong in the curves...even if I connect the point, these are crossed.. :S

anyone how to solve it?

thanks in advance

Nice design, your definition is too complex for some things, but keep going man, it's turning out a nice object..

Thanks! I know, I am just a beginner in GH :)
