Component request: Split Solid

I wonder is it possible to add an accompanying component to trim solid, but instead as split solid. To perform the same as trim solid but keep all the segments. Similar to rhinos split command. Or maybe add a bool function in the trim solid to keep all segments?

Something like this?

import rhinoscriptsyntax as rs
R = rs.SplitBrep(S,T,False)

thanks, its in vb as well, The idea was not just for me but that I think its missing from the default tool set. Its an important tool that I noticed isn't in the tool set;)
