algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear all,

I need to select from a series of boxes generated in GH with rabbit the ones that have a neighbor on each face (so 6 neighbors) and the ones that don't have any neighbor on any face.
For istance you can refer to the image attached, I need to select the red boxes.
I was trying to select them in GH by evaluating the distance from the center of each box to the center of each face. Since this distance has to be 0,5m and since avery box has to have at least 6 points on this distance, the idea was to select the boxes with 6 or 12 points on this distance. The problem is that i don't know how to list the cubes in a way to select the ones i want. Any suggestion, help or better idea on how to achieve this is very welcome.

Thanks.

Here is an update, i manage to manually select the items that have 6 or 12 pts with 0,5m distance, but how can i automate this operation?
