HoneyComb Structure

Hi All

I have only recently been learning and using grasshopper and have been trying with difficulty to create a structure of modulated pods in the form of a honeycomb. I have already modelled the concept in rhino photo-7.JPG and want to be able to do this same thing in grasshopper. I eventually want to do something like this with my modular pods 854998.jpg

Can anybody help point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance.

You are a godsend. Thanks. I just want to combine the two now with the honeycomb pods creating the canopy (as per script 2) do I just change the box to polygon (as per script 1).
