Length/Size Relationship

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone out there knows of an effective solution to creating a relationship between the length of a line and the size of sweep it gets. 

I have some components creating a square sweep along all of the lines in my project and it works out great. 

Only issue is that it sweeps all lines with the same size "beam". I'm looking for a solution to change that. To keep the same sweep profile, but for line length to change the size of the sweep. 

for example, say one line is 10 feet long and another is 5 feet long, the 10 foot sweep should be wider than the sweep done on the 5 foot line. 

I hope that is clear enough.

If anyone has any help, it would be greatly appreciated.
