algorithmic modeling for Rhino
How to offset curves on a surface ? When i try offsetting them, the result is multiple broken curves. I was able to achieve something similar to what i am looking for by scaling triangles and lofting them. But it results in different offset distance on every side.
Can some one please guide me/suggest me what i can try. I will attach result with scaled triangles.
Thanking you in advance.

Try attached file.
That's exactly what i wanted to achieve. Thanks a ton Djordje. I really appreciate your help.
Can i ask you one more thing here ?
Is there a way to control subdivisions on a surface when you isotrim ? I mean divide them equally, i know it is partly dependent on the extruded curve profile, number of control points and distance between them.
Thanks once again for your help.

Not sure I understand you. What does "equally dividing of a surface" mean? Having triangular faces with all three edges of a same size?
If that is so, then I guess - no, you can not control this. Except for getting some approximate equal values.
HI Djordje,
I have attached a sketch explaining my question. I think you have answered my question in a way. But just wanted to get a sketch out to you and see if it is possible.

Try right clicking on your "surface" parameter and choose "reparametarize".
Thanks a lot Djordje, will try that.
Hi Djordje,
Can you please help me with this when you have a chance?

I still dint make any progress with this :(
You have been and are very helpful.
Thanking you in advance.

Hi! I am using the definition you made but I had two questions. (1) how do i made the section I marked over blue shaded/capped? (2) when I bake it it bakes at individual sections, how do i fix this?
