windows 8 / windows 7 ???

Does anybody know something about windows 8??

I am going for a new computer and i am afraid that windows 7 could get outdated after a while.

Any advice????

Windows 8 will also get outdated after a while ;) I (and probably most of the users) will wait for the next windows.

As far as I know from the IT news, most companies stay with win7 at this moment. It may be somehow similar situation as was with winxp and vista... users mostly stayed with winxp for as long as it was possible.

I use linux, installed windows 8 on Virtrual box, and Rhino. And doesn't work. At all?

McNeel does not support any virtual machine for any of our products. The problems are never ending and often unfixable or untrackdownable. If ypou can get Rhino to work on Parallels or VMWare or some other simulator, good for you, if not, you're on your own.
