algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello!
I am trying to obtain a metaballs line around a set of points:
The points that are highlighted in the picture below around a green circle have a higher charge than others:
Currently this is what I have:
Is there anyone that would be able to help me to parametrically recreate the white line shown in the first pictures?

Here's my take -
Rather than using the metaball(t) custom component, I'm using the regular metaballs component with many division points as David suggested. In order to increase the "charge" within the circles, I'm duplicating those points that fall within the circles. It calculates (reasonably) quickly and I think the result is close to what you're after.
Awesome!
Hey Daniel,
thanks for this file. I like it to have a look behind the components. I think learning how a component is working helps for your further work, because we do not have a component for all tasks.
I got asked in a different discussion if this is possible as well with surfaces. I made a small definition, but the advantages of yout mesh-version gets obviouse (calculating time, :-))
Best Regards

Maybe some one has got a faster working version for Surfaces.
Thanks all the amazing work
