algorithmic modeling for Rhino

tensile membrane

Hi people,

I would like to use kangaroo to achieve something like the model shown the attached image. However I'm not quite sure where to start in order to get a tensile membrane behave physically correct in order to make the rods be in compression. Can anyone point me in some direction??

I also meant to show this other image more clearly; the intention is to be able to pull 'points' in the membrane. thanks again!
