pyhton grasshopper output misbehaving

Hi

Im an experienced GH/python programmer and I have recently come across a very weird problem

The python component is outputting the results 72 times, instead of single time.

even the out is multiplied by 72 (swear to god, i didnt touch it)

I traced the problem back to having a list of 72 values in the input which was not identified as a list but as an item, and changing from item access to list access solved the problem. 

but this shouldnt happen, I guess its a bug of some sort
