algorithmic modeling for Rhino

tween between two surfaces

Does anyone have any idea of how to replicate the "tween between two surfaces" function of rhino 5? It creates intermediate surfaces between two input surfaces (http://www.3dm-world.com.au/products/Localization/en-US/help/Comman... Or anyway to do something similar, like the average path/surface between two paths/surfaces/solids?
