Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello. Back from vacations now again working on my Thesis Project.

i'm working with a definition where i use a CAD draw with diferents type of lines apparently.   Line Like Curves, And Polyline Curves.

There's a way to Homogenize this 2 kind of line types, and exactly whats the difference in between. ?

Thanks

They are both essentially the same, except that Line-like curves are polylines with only a single segment.

Linear Nurbs curves and Polycurves are described as "Linear" rather than "Line Like".

I'm working with a CAD topo file which has 2d and 3d polylines and am trying to create a surface out of them in grasshopper. I plan on running a plane perpendicular thru to the contour lines capturing the intersection point then making a mesh from points. It works on lines that I create in rhino but the PCX plug errors when I reference the CAD linework. Any thoughts about this?
