Hi Tim. 

You probably need to press the "step" button one or more times until it converges. When you first load the file millipede does about 5 optimization iterations but that is not enough for this model. Each time you press step a few more iterations are done which redistribute material until it stops changing. You could also play with the iso mesh [the scrollbar that controls the contour that you are picking up from the continuous field]. If you step a couple more times after you load you will see the following:
