algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Ok so I know how to make a grid and pull its points to geometry then connect with lines (first image)
However, I'm wondering whether it's possible to do a similar thing with weaverbird's 'wbStellate' mesh. Simply pulling the points doesn't pull the geometry of the Stellate mesh(image 2). I can change the hight of the pyramids using the D, but I want to be able to pull their tops to towards another surface/geometry based on their relative distance to it.
It's kinda hard for me to explain so I manually created what I am trying to achieve in rhino (last image).

How would I go about also make the height of the pyramids relative to their distance from the box (like in my third image)?
