Hannes, I think he is the author of the image but is trying to understand why what he did is giving the results he has.

Artyom, don't have the answer to your question but its definitely related to how the edges are sorted in wb. But even if you "jitter" the output of wbedges it still gives you something that looks less straight but still like diffusion limited aggregation or branching. Anyway i think what you found is cool!
