Remove duplicate data

Has anyone found a simple solution to removing duplicate data (just numbers) from a data stream? I have repeated data, and all i want to do is just have one copy of each number. Ive looked aroudn the discussions but I couldnt find a succinct solution to the problem.

Integers or doubles?
If doubles, you might need to set a tolerance.
