Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys, is it possible to handle a shape in GSH after it was baked?

Example:

I move a SQUARE, then i BAKE it ... after that, is it possible that GSH recognize it and then i can handle it with the usual GSH command? I don't wanna to select again the geometry. Hope to be clear!! ;-)

You can bake geometry to a unique layer and use the GeometryPipline to pick up whaterver is on that layer.

Is there any reason why you want to bake and pick again? Can't you just use the GH square without baking it?

If I bake a 2D shape and than I extrude it in GSH, with "modify point"command on Rhinoceros I can modify the entire 3D!! ;-)

Try using geometry cache ;) It was coded to solve that situation ;)

FANTASTIC!! Thank U Angel!! ;-)

Ouuuu Noooo ... after baking, if I move my 2D shape (in yellow) the extrusion doesn't follow the movement ... why this?

...... because I have to LOAD the "new"geometry every time I do a modification ;-)
