Growing system according navigation

Hi!

I need help. I am not sure which tools to use.

The idea is to create one growing system of six different groups according simple rules.

The rules:

Different color shapes have different navigation according others, that are near.

LIGHT BLUE rotates to --> PINK, BLUE

PINK rotates to --> GREEN, LIGHT BLUE

BLUE rotates to --> LIGHT BLUE, RED

RED rotates to --> BLUE, BLACK

BLACK rotates to --> RED

GREEN rotates to --> BLUE, PINK

Is it Hoopsnake a good solution? Or maybe there is a better way?

whats the purpose of this project, cuz i think that this project suits better in Processing, its really easy with just a few lines of codes

if you dont know anything about processing tomorrow the guys from Modelab will be teaching an introduction free webinar about processing then they´re will be teaching another more in depth webinnar just for 95 dollars i guess if you are student you can join the class for 50 dollars
