dividing surface-rotating elements-connecting elements-make it one surface

hi everyone.

is it possible to "cut" a surface into different, not regular elements.

make every element rotate around it´s axis and then connect all elements together again? it´s almost like an accordion or a folded plate, but irregular and every element should have it´s own rotation axis.

thanks in advance!

It is. And as so many times before our genius friend provides an answer.

I see it´s a little hard to follow, since its a bigger, kind of unsorted definition.

So to nail down the basic idea:

You collect the single transformations and make it a compound for each step. Just like this:

Check your folding lines. Some of them are polylines. RotAx can only deal with lines. Check the correct order of selection too.
