algorithmic modeling for Rhino

How can I divide the surface with fixed distance rather than using domain value?

I am trying to divide surface with fixed distance. (U and V value can be varied) Can anyone advise me on that? Thanks in advance.

Hi Cho,

Usually the domain of a referenced surface from Rhino has the domain corresponding to the length of the corresponding edges.

If you have built your surface within GH or reparameterized, the domain is 0 To 1. So just measure the edge and remap the distance value to the domain of the surface UV.

Then you can use IsoTrim by providing a list of domains containing your (UV that is equivalent to the distances) So U and V can be varied.

Cheers FF
