algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi,

i have a question to the definition made by michael,
which can be created rotated ribbons in the areas,
where they come with the respective attractors in connection.

http://formularch.blogspot.de/2012/11/gh-surface-ribbons.html

my question to you would be:
what should i do with this definition,
so that the ribbons contract in the respective areas?
they should become narrow and should not be spinning.

thanks

Maybe you get closer to what you want with this?

yes dackelchen, we come closer to the solution. (:
what i do not understand is, why the stripes,
which are closest to the attractor,
are very deformed.

is it possible to designed the deformation somewhat harmonious?

thanks dackelchen.

i miss a smooth transition!

mh, how about this one.

do you see also a possibility,
how this problem can be solved?

ok one solution is to increase the subdivision.
but it does not solve the problem entirely.

You certainly know a better answer.
I know you.

ther are bigger problems like: Did you check 12:12 Uhr 12.12.12?

my  dear dedackel,

in order that this tool is really good.
how can you change the shape of the influence area?
The picture shows that the attractor area is circular.
This can be also make ellipsoidal?
or can also be used a curve as an attractor?

thanks in advance!
