Issues with Space Frame Script for 3D Printing

Hello all,

I am trying to 3D print a space frame, but the script I made using the digitaltoolbox tutorial has a lot of overlapping surfaces, too many to manually resolve. Here's a link to tutorial I used: http://digitaltoolbox.info/grasshopper-intermediate/sublist/

Is there a script out there (public) that is much more 3D print-friendly? Or is there anything I could do to facilitate making a closed object? I've attached the script.

You can use the plugin "Lunchbox" which components SpaceTruss 1
