algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I think this method was added in a more recent update to Rhino 5.0. Try updating and see if that helps.
The help menu says my Rhino5 is up to date. I did the last update (to Rh5 Eval) after 5 was officially released.
My mistake - you're right, that is updated. I can reproduce the error you're getting - Bug it is. Sorry for jumping to conclusions!
Always check, never assume :D ...looking at the release date I had some doubts too, then I checked the version via the help menu.
Hopefully this will fix itself as more Rhino5 updates go out. At present the beta release cycle is somewhat interrupted by the commercial release and there's little I can do from here at the moment.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have the same error... The problem is that I don't see another way to create a matrix. I've tried with the matrix param, but it doesn't let me set a matrix or manage the collection (nothing happens when clicking "Manage Matrix collection").
Is there a workaround to use matrixes ? Thanks in advance for any help.
