algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Python 2.7 or 3.0

I´m getting involve into Scripting World with Python, now in the Basics Phase, i was reading a book exactly Learning Python of editorial Oreilly, 4th Edition and i notice that Python 2.7 its  quite diferent to Phython 3.0  or thats what i understand 

my question is wich one version its suitable to get into to to implement it in Rhino 2.7 or 3.0 ?

Rhino 5 runs IronPython 2.7.0. On the RhinoPython forum there's a bunch of great links to relevant resources. BTW you can check the Python version using this code:

print sys.version
