algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I want to make holes in certain surfaces (planes) thanks to other surfaces (cones)... and i absolutely don't know how to get it works!

I try to regroup each cones but to keep all the planes separately.. it doesn't work. So i try to swap A and B in the boolean difference, i try to graft the cones and flatten the planes... i don't understand what's wrong.

Thank you in advance for enlighten me!

SDiff is used for solid boolean differences. Your planes are no solid objects. Your cones don't seem do be solids either. You can make the cones solid by adding a cap.

If that doesn't work, try SolidTrim. This should work with open Breps. Or try to split your planes with the intersection curves and the SurfaceSplit component.

Hi Hannes!

Yes, i try the surfaceSplit component with the intersection curves i had created.

After many attempts, i get it but i think this is not too 'clean'.. btw it works^^
