Creating variations in a triangulated truss system

Hi,

I'm an architecture student and am working on a bridge for a project. The main idea is using two angled truss archs together with a triangulated truss system in the top pulling the two archs in. I've used this tutorial to create the triangulation, and it's working well enough, but now I wish to be able to have a denser truss in the middle of the bridge and less dense closer towards the ends (to illustrate the amount of force needed at the various parts of the bridge). This also creates a more interesting experience inside the structure.

I've included my roof surface and Grasshopper triangulation. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction here, as I don't quite know how to do this with my current Grasshopper program. I've thought of trying a plugin called StructDrawRhino, but I figured I'd ask here as well.

Hi Per,

If I understood you correctly, by "ends" you meant the banks of the river? Is this what are you looking for:

?
Is so, then use the triangulation.gh attached file.

If I missunderstood you, and by "ends" you meant those two truss arcs, like this:

Then use triangulation2.gh file.

By using the "Graph mapper" component you can adjust the density of division, in both definitions.

Oh, sorry! I meant the banks of the river.

Thank you so much for the help!

Hello

can you send me the files of the bridge? My email is shana.de.maere@hotmail.com

thnx
