algorithmic modeling for Rhino

drawing an ellipsoid in grasshopper

hello, 

does anyone know how to create an ellipsoid in grasshopper?

since the "sphere" component can only input one radius, an ellipsoid which needs 3 axes to define cannot be created by the "sphere" component.

hope someone can help!

Not sure if this actually creates an ellipsoidal surface , but have you tried scaling a sphere non-uniformly?

Hi guys, I'm posting my 3D foci based ellipsoid make based on Omar's reply.  I locked out the Width value so you couldn't accidentally create an infinite surface.  Tweak it as you'd like but wanted to share.
