Null output

Hi everyone,

I set up a definition to do the thermal analysis using Viper in DIVA. There is no error but the output is Null. Does anyone know where is the problem?

P.S. I tried both Rhino 4 and 5, there is no change!

Hi,

The file works on my end. Are there any messages in Viper's 'messages' output? What version of the Grasshopper assembly are you using?

Hi Jon,

Here is the Viper's messages output:

No windows were included, If this was not intended, make sure window breps intesect zone breps and are coplanar with them.

IDF file written:

C:\DIVA\Thermal\Grasshopper\Projects\Viper_Temp\Viper_Temp.idf

E+batch file written: C:\DIVA\EnergyPlusV7-0-0\DIVA_for_Grasshopper.bat

Weather file: USA_MA_Boston-Logan.Intl.AP.725090_TMY3

Attemptingn to run batch file...

Batch file launched successfully.

There is no error here. And I am using Grasshopper 0.8.0066 and Rhino 4

Sorry for the delay, Nick. Does anything happen when you set Run to True? i.e., Does the black EnergyPlus window not appear at all? Or does it merely flash and then immediately close?

yes, it flashes and immediately close (in a second), and the outputs are null without any error!
