algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello there,
I'm trying to produce this http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bMvi9-dEQ48/T9bX-RgpnZI/AAAAAAAAASs/1SFp-... which is meant to result in this https://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/2654764453?prof...
I've tried to follow it as much as I can, which is attached. But the results are nowhere near similar.
Anyone kind enough to please help? Much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hey,
You require a plug-in named Kangaroo. This plug-in gives you the "remove duplicate points" component which is needed between the replace and polyline components. Also a few minor tweaks throughout the definition.
I havent tried it without the Kangaroo compnent. I also linked the inverted cull component to the replace component.
inverted cull is in my definition, Also your missing the input to replace in F. As a side note which is written in my gh definition description, neither kangaroo remove duplicate or gh.9's new cull point component are not needed as polyline automatically collapses duplicate points, I just hate seeing the yellow warning on the component.
no problem enjoy
Update to the latest build and you should be set
it is gh.9 also I was zoomed out to far so icons didnt show. not intentional.
sure, but also check out the field components added in this version of gh, being you are interested in these kind of lines. for instance http://www.grasshopper3d.com/photo/force-fields?context=latest
Hi Michael, I can't locate the kangaroo 'remove duplicate points' component - is there a component I should be substituting in Kangaroo2? Has this script been updated for current GH versions?
Thank you,
John
hi Michael, I wonder how I can apply this code with curves on 3d surface....thanks so much ( sorry about my English :d)
my Email: duongthanhnguyen_arch@yahoo.com
Hello
Is it possible to apply this on 3D surface like mine? I was trying, but I have problems with "circles"...Their centres are on surface,(marked yellow) but when I conect them, they are not in the same plane like surface...I think I need to apply them somehow on my surface but don't know how.
Hope You can help. :) Thanks
