algorithmic modeling for Rhino
So, my attempt to modify a pre-existing definition posted by the P^A Lab at http://pandalabccc.blogspot.com.es/2010/04/omitofograsshopperflower... has gone awry, Three interpolated curves should form a leaf, the rotate(x) and rotate commands should rotate the leafs into a flower, simple right?
I cannot get the middle interpolated curve (the middle curve or backbone) to loft with the other two at once. Any combination of two out of the three work. Manually though, all three curves are lofted with ease.
Then there is the issue of layering leaves, as you see on the panlabccc page linked, the flower is a dense layering of leaves, however I only get one layer.
Danke!

You need to make sure, all loft curves are oriented the same way (curve vectors are same order). Your outer curves were flipped.
Either flip all curves to match a reference (e.g. center curve) or manually adjust vector ordering.
So simply and well put, I understand the logic now. I believe to manually adjust vectors and normals one would go to the 'analyse' tab in rhino workspace, it's the HOW that's tricky! but c'est la vie, will attempt it once more. (i.e flip every single curve till something pops out)
