Orient Surface to Camera Definition (ideal for entourage in architectural renderings)

I wrote this definition for the purpose of copying pictureframe
surfaces in architectural scenes (people, trees, cars, etc...), and
orienting them towards the camera for use with multiple views.

Now updated for use with build 0.6.0059

dope, gonna check it out.
worked well, but for me, it rotated the resulting srfs 180 after running the deff.
hi john, when i was trying to download your examples / attachments, i got "OrientToCamera_v1-1.0.ghx.xml" rather than grasshopper file. do you know what the problem is? thanks
download linked file as
OrientToCamera_v1-1.0.txt.ghx
and if that doesnt work try
OrientToCamera_v1-1.0.ghx.txt
thanks John!
Just came across you definition, really useful, but some surfaces were flipped through 180 or 90 degrees so I ended up with upside down and side ways people.

Any idea why that might have happened?
Fixed the flipping issue, all surfaces should come out right-side-up now.
Is the definition on your first post the updated one??

As it looks different but I'm still getting the same problem? With the same people.

I'm trying to use surfaces cut out as people silhouettes, but I guess that shouldn't be an issue as rhino just sees it as a surface whatever shape it is.
This is exactly what I was trying to study for the crowd generator. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting! First test ended up rotated for me too though:

it depends on the orientation of the surface. flip it and it will be right..
pretty cool. thx!
