Laying out Components 2D for laser cutting

Hi Guys,

I've designed a simple chair in grasshopper made out of a repetition of 2 components. I am trying to layout the components on the XY plane as 2D for laser cutting. I know I could just use the curves I used to draw the components, however I am planning to create joints from the final brep. then lay them out. some of the components layout correctly, however the rest duplicate quite a few times.
