Panel Permutation

Hi,

I have made a panel colouring using the ImageSampler. First Each panel is subdiide in 4 sub-Panels and each sub panel receive a grayscale value. To simplify, there is only 4 gray value. Now I'd like to count the number of combination of panels according that the panels are perfect squares so the combination A,B,C,D is equal to D,A,B,C to C,D,A,B and to B,C,D,A and so on.

And now i'm lost.

By the way, this is the definition with the list of 4 values for each pannel
