algorithmic modeling for Rhino

here's a definition i made for previewing darts:

( if you're wondering about the preview mode, it's a plugin called TechDraw )

if anyone can point out why the barrel doesn't preview right (but bakes correctly), please do tell me...

have fun with it.

I'm not sure what causes your preview issue, but if you decompose the barrel using Brep Components it previews correctly.

also - I did have a little play:

I probably got the weight distribution all wrong though ;)
heh, cool
didn't know about this project of yours. seems great
Does anyone know if the Technical viewport display in Rhino 5 is supposed to be similar to the TechDraw plug-in?
It's really interesting to see how parametric approaches are applied on modeling. Well done.

Yet, I have a question about TechDraw (this is exactly what I am looking for). After draw the geometry in the views, do you simply capture the screens and process the captured images? or is there a way to output the image directly? What might be the proper workflow of producing this type of rendered images? Thanks for sharing this and your time.

With regards, Javier
you can use capture > to clipboard / to file (by r-clicking the viewport name) or better (as i did here) use print and select image as printer
Thanks. It's really quick response!

you can also use make2D in rhino and then export selected if you want the information as vectorial
