algorithmic modeling for Rhino
A daily geometric problem is presented to the grasshopper 3d community. Degrees of difficulty vary by day.
The idea is to sharpen skills, challenge, or a fun exercise: Useful for beginners wanting to learn, or as an alternative to your morning coffee + cross-word puzzle.
Problems can be moderated, community contributed, examples found in primers (with acknowledgements), etc.
Looking forward to hearing your feedback-

uummm, yes! :D
it would also be nice to have explanations (sort of a play by play) within the resulting definitions so other users can not only learn, but understand how and why the definition works.
i like the idea of a formal one, but all you have to do is pick any question posted on the forum. go away and have a go with your knowledge as it stands. submit your answer and then read what others achieved. you will soon learn a lot of new stuff that you can apply the next time.
this is exactly how i learnt gh. the important thing is to have a go.
I learned (am learning) GH exactly the same. But organizing some contest would be cool (particulary winning robotic ABB arm)

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I really like the idea of possibly looking for interesting problems in the discussion, and “play by play” solutions as part of the answers.
Thanks all for your feedback.
The group is now open!, as soon as its official- I will post the kick-off problem.
It's official!
yup, so excited, still awaiting approval.
sounds like fun.. if you want it real nerdy you could also think of it as a kind of grasshopper golf (like code golf)
