Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Guys,

I am lofting through a series of lines in 3D space in Grasshopper, but I need the form generated when I select "Match start tangent" and "Match end tangent" when lofting in Rhino. These options don't exist in the Loft Options dialog in GH.

In the picture above, the surface generated by GH is in grey, while the surface I made in Rhino (and would like to recreate in GH) is in red.

Does anyone know where to find these options, or how to get similar results in GH? Thanks!

Match tangents only works if the start and/or end lines are part of a surface.

I don't know how Rhino does it, but here's how I would do it:

Find an isocurve on the surface to match, that runs parallel to the edge, include the extracted curves to the loft. Then trim the loft with the original edges.
