how to make a "3 leg surface"

i am trying to make something similar to the metropol parasol, i am stopped in ho to make the surface, i would like to have some help, or a tutorial would be great, excuse me for my poor english, i am spanish.

usted puede hacer una búsqueda en la "barra de búsqueda" (estructura reticular) ( waffle structure) y mirar a través de algunos ejemplos. debe haber alguna que te puede ayudar,

estoy mas interesado en hacer algo como el thread que pongo en el link, no tanto una estructura reticular. Querría saber como hacer para generar una suerficie continua que tenga 3 apoyos y todo se pueda panelizar mediante un mismo patron
