algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

If I want to fillet a multi-segment curve using the Fillet (parameter) tool, the problem is when I feed it a flat list of parameters and the curve, I get as many different solutions as parameters input - each curve output has just one of the fillets...

Is there a solution for this that I haven't found (likely)... or if not, can a "create one curve per input curve" toggle be added to the component?

Thx,

I think David made this component to overcome the issue with the other 2 Fillet Components that would sometimes not allow the correct size of Arc, if memory serves me, it was an ad-hoc component to deal with only one fillet in a pair of curves.

Until David returns you can use this definition, or rather adapt it to suit, which hopefully identifies which curves you want to keep and joins them up.

Hi Mitch, I had the same question some time ago, maybe you can find a solution you like in this thread: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/filleting-polyline-t-ques...

Hi Mitch, I got something I'd like you to try. I made a Fillet Polyline User Object that takes a list of radii, one for each corner. Should work on non planar polylines too.
(You can try the example first, if you like it: The UO will appear in the Curve > Utils tab.)
