algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi everyone! I have an extrude problem:
As you see in the attached pic.1 I tried to extrude my hexagonal morph. I found out how to do this just in one direction (pic.2). But how can I extrude so that the thickness is equal in all directions? So to say, that the extrude is always perpendicular to my origin surface? Help! It would be great if someone could make a screenshot or explain it so that me, beginner would understand. THANK YOU!

... I did, but it still needs to know the direction...
Hi Andrew,
I have the same problem, but with a little difference.
I want to extrude my hexagon surface normal (like the upper image) and it should end on another surface, i can do an offset and then trim with the extrusion surface?
Thanks to all who will reply.
Thank you Andrew! But now it looks like this (pic 1) maybe you`ll take a look at the attached def? Or maybe you have an Idea what did I do wrong? Thank you!
Oh! I just solve the problem with an another def.
His solution seems correct. Thanks for sharing Andrew.!!
