Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

i have a rhino file containing a series of mesh objects, named a1, a2, ..., a64
can i rename these with grasshopper so the are called b1, b2, ..., b64 (b being an adjustable parameter). could anyone please point me to the right direction how to start and which components to use?
thanks in advance

You can bake them with names with Guilio's tools from his website. I'm not sure if you can retrieve the objects by name through any native component in grasshopper though...
nice script, thanks for the link
but its not what i am after.
as far as i can see, it cant read or change names of rhino objects, right?

so maybe its not as easy as i thought ...
You can...it would just require a script. Do you need to get this done in GH, or can this be done through Rhinoscript or something. It would probably be easier to get it done in Rhinoscript.
i prefer gh because i have no programming skills.
for scripting, i will have to ask for help and then it would not matter if its gh or rhinoscript.
what would you consider better: gh or rhinoscript?
Here is the definition and Rhino file. I hope it will help you.
