Trim/split a sphere in grasshopper

Hi everyone,

simple question...I would like to decide via gh to split my sphere in some position.

It's a silly question I know. I can make it with a mesh but doesn't work with a sphere...Anyone knows why?

i think you need to project a curve on sphere and then use srfsplit with that curve.

also you could use a brep like a box or something and then use solid difference.

made it...thx manuel! stupid question thx for the answer! I wasn't tring with solid difference that was the point...
