algorithmic modeling for Rhino

in the file i just lofted two curves, getting straight surfaces.
i got 8 surfaces.
i made panels of the surfaces and used slider contollers, and then later i made each panel had a rotate random value...and it works!

but there is one step not working good.
from the lofted surface, if i bake and then choose the surfaces, the file continues fine.
but i could not make it without that baking, and dont know really why.

i had it explained also on the file

any idea?
it is not the problem itself...the thing is i am learning, and nearly always get some little issues

What your missing is a graft tree from the each of the 2 Panels components (strings) into the U and v Of the divide Domain as though your list surfaces maybe one to each tree your domains where not.

A graft tree component (found at: Logic>Tree>Graft Tree) could also take place of your pathmapper at the top if you don't mind a few more 0's

Also not asked but conisidered as you posted the def to look at. Your setting for the domains going into the random number component are set to go between around -2*Pi and +2*Pi Thus working in Radians for the rotate component then you have put in an Fx comonpent with Rad(x) as the expression which will convert your "degrees" into Radians even though they seem like they are ment to be Radians allready or i maybe wroung and you want a very small Angle of rotation. Then sorry.

In the long term as your defs get bigger things like Rad(a) and reversing vectors i find good to input into that letters expression editor. For the letter of the expression type the input letter so Rad(a) for degrees to radians in any of the rotate componets in the Angle input.
