grasshopper problems bothers me...

there's several problems bothers me, and I already report crash email to Mcneel technician...and follow steps of what he said, but problem persists...

finally they can't slove and suggest me post on here... wish anyone can tell me

how to do... very thanks

I use rhino 4.0 sr9 , grasshopper I try 0.8.0062 0.8.0064 0.8.0065 also these problems

here is the email I wrote:

I think it maybe not the drivers problem , I already follow your link
 , download and install new display driver , it doesn' t work. 囧rz..

I also follow your suggest remove the check for using accelerated
 hardware modes , it doesn't work. 囧rz..

Even I already recovery my laptop , reinstall rhino sr9 several
 times.... the problem persists ... I have no idea how to do now.

2. drag the "gh" and "ghx" file into grasshopper window to open , it
    crash. I have to use open file that can work.

3. grasshopper weave element , can't zoom in by using mouse wheel , it

    If choose the "variable parameters" of it , wait counting > close , it
    works!! can see and use "+"!! but done and zoom out , it crash.

4. grasshopper VB script element ,can't zoom in by using mouse wheel ,
    it crash.

    works!! can see and use "+"!! but done and zoom out , it crash.

    If choose the "edit source" of it , it crash.


 seems the new function of elements if it have to zoom to see "+" , it
 all can't work....

Hi Yugi.

Your computer is a Toshiba Satellite L500, so the graphics card will be implemented on the motherboard as opposed to being an ATI card.

Go to the Toshiba site www.toshiba.com and locate your country site, then through support / downloads you can choose your satellite model, operating system etc to get a list of all the latest available drivers.

HI Barry,

I follow your link and find the diver, sadly.....the version of it as same as now I installed.................
then I go to my Console>device manager>right click to check "auto update drivers" on web...it actually says my driver is newest for my device....囧

hi Danny,

Seems my driver version 8.611 is the newest for my display card , even I go to Toshiba website, the latest version also 8.611..., even I can't install catalyst 12.1, but I found

catalyst 11.12, the ati driver with it is also 8.611.....囧..are you sure my HD 4500 series card have any newer driver?

I already manage, just like above.

IF I do:
1. open grasshopper window ,when the mouse cursor choose File>Recent Files , it
crash. "just move cursor on it! it crash. I did't click!"
