hi roberto
you did a beginner mistake... so a very important part in grasshopper are data trees...so flyout view turn on fancy wires
after that you visual see the data streams get more and more information after each component ... the upper stream is directly linked to the join but the bottom stream hast to run threw several components so the data stream changes to a data tree (take 2 param viewer components and link one to the upper and the other to the bottom stream after creating the line.. you will see the difference)
so solving the problem is if you do not need the data tree information to flatten the stream (right click on the input C @ the join component and select flatten) or you have to equal the to both data trees with the pathmapper... there are several discussions out there about the pathmapper
hope that helps
btw can you give me a hint how to change the interface to grey?
hi and thanks for the quick reply!
i AM a beginner (at least i feel like being one, even after some months of using gh).
so i will try to reproduce your explanations ...
the grey interface i use is my adaptation of the classic windows theme, if you want i can email it to you.

thanks again roberto
hey no problem... the data tree problem catches everybody...
would be great if you can send it to me
thanx in advance
thanks again for the good explanation above.
for the moment i just fixed it by flattening "the C @ the join component"
i will have a deepre look if i have some time left.
i will attach the windows-theme here.
problems you might have:
- the font size is very large because i use a 30"-monitor
- the white font sometimes causes problems if a "window" is not recognized as a "window" and not shown in grey, then the font is white on white...
